I have eatin here about 10 times I reckon. I am American and have live here now 3 yrs. Anyone that has written a bad review remember this, places have off days. I have never had a bad steak here ever and I always always get the 500 g ribeye or rump. Both always taste like home. Perfect everytime. The ribs are also authentic tasting to home. I could never say a negative word about this place. Keep up the good work and see ya Friday. 🥩🤤😋
I went on Steak night, lovely selection. I had the 500g Rump steak, It was to die for. Carefully seasoned with salt and pepper. Cooked perfectly Medium. The Passionfruit mocktail was also very nice. The atmosphere is lovely, nice music, very kind staff. Good value for money aswell. For a Medium steak the wait time was really good. I would absolutely recommend Iron river, it is truly a hidden gem of the peninsula!
Honestly my fave dinner out in a long time. Food was SPOT on - we had beef brisket, beef ribs and Texas wings with blue cheese sauce. It was so much food I took some home to enjoy later. Drinks were delicious, highly recommend the frozen Margherita, and the service was on point. There was a girl who came over to check if I wanted another drink as mine got low and when she saw me fanning myself she brought over a jug of ice to add to our drinks and table water - just a very nice touch!

Someone wise once said: "You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Thankfully, this restaurant died a hero... As we coincidentally ate our last supper here on their final night. My wife and I are genuinely heartbroken that tonight will be their last. For years, Iron River was our go-to spot for the best steaks and parmas around, and somehow unlike many other local restaurants, they never lost their touch. Thank you for the incredible food and memories, and for satisfying our stomachs one last time. You'll be dearly missed. 💔

We went there on a weekday lunch as I had an appointment nearby. We ordered the 500g ribeye to share between the two of us. It was the best steak I've ever had at a restaurant. Great quality beef and perfect cooking. Loved the chips too. Burger and mocktail also great.
First time here..our Sunday lunch we found our meals very nice. steaks cooked to our liking and well seasoned.service was amazing.the chicken wings a must.my favorite were bqq and buffalo. Went back for a second round on may 30..absolutely awesome meals. The corn bread with infused butter and honey is a must try.so good.Tennessee pork ribs mouthwatering.sorry that your closing.thanks for the delicious meals guys
